I’m glad you found me here;) I’m Luming—a portrait photographer based in Ithaca, NY. The name of my brand, lumingnate, comes from a blend of meanings—Ming in my name in Chinese means light or brightness, which beautifully resonates with the word luminate in English.

Light is at the heart of photography—it shapes what we see and how we feel. My approach is all about natural light and genuine emotion—creating images that bring out your true essence with a touch of artistry.

I’m fluent in both English and Mandarin, which allows me to connect people from diverse backgrounds and make every session comfortable and engaging. Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 400 portrait sessions, giving me the experience to guide you with ease while making space for authentic moments to unfold.
